Hello Mopar faithful. I still have the original vinyl sleeve that the owner's manual for my 1974 Duster came in. Unfortunately, it is falling apart and I've been looking for a new repro one but haven't had any luck. I found a repro one for my 1969 Charger, but my 1974 Duster owner's manual doesn't fit into that because the Charger sleeve isn't tall enough. So there are actually several sizes of these clear vinyl sleeves that Chrysler used over the years. I've attached a photo of mine. Please note that it is about 10 1/2 inches across when opened up. Anybody out there know of where I can buy a correctly sized repro sleeve? Please feel free to post photos of yours if you've purchased one. Thanks!

With the right material you could make one at home.

A bag sealer would get you the seam cleanly but a hot rod would work too.

  1. Basically cut the thermo plastic sheet out.
  2. Fold the left and right ends toward the center with the correct gap in the center.
  3. Seam seal the top edge and the bottom edge
  4. Trim the seam sealed edge to your liking.
