dome light

My dome light won't work and I can't figure why.I tested the dome and no power to it,also the door switch wire goes into the harness and that doesn't have power ,so I don't know where to check.any help would be appreciated.

The dome lite circit is a switched to ground system. The power feeds to
the lite and after the buld is the ground circit and switch. Check fuses and
main power into the fuse panel. Good luck. Green Duster
 
I checked the fuses and none are blown.Could I run a new wire to the dome,if so what circuit on the fuse box would I tap into?
