Have a 74 duster, 360 and 727 with a column shift, quadajet carb, what is correct linkage to be set up? I have no idea where to start and don’t flame me too bad here. Keep in mind we got this to learn on, any input is appreciated
It looks like a Lokar setup?I don't like the way that the kickdown cable for the transmission is so high and angled down. Maybe that bracket is not right, it looks to be aftermarket.
I don't know who put the Quadrajet on there, but I would remove that for another carburetor. If not... you may be spending a lot of time on something that might never be right
get the 650 AVS 2.Edelbrook 650 avs2 or jegs 650 will go to go on a 360?
Agree with Edebrock 650 AVS 2 for 360 V8 (my Edelbrock 800 is Made in USA. Big plus)You’ll want one of these for your throttle bracket. The 650 AVS2 will be a great step forward here

Yes, I would look on here and find one to replace the Lokar type setup. The throttle link adapter puts your carburetor linkage at the correct throttle pedal and kickdown linkage ratio.Still need Chrysler Throttle cable kickdown linkage adapter to install throttle cable and kickdown on 1481.
If the engine came from a truck it could have had a quadajet on factory.
Around 1985 Ma Mopar started using Quadrajets . Carter went out of business. My 88 D350 had one.If that is a Mopar Rochester it would be post 1974.

Is there an adapter I can get off the shelf that can correct it?yea, thats not correct.. should be a pretty straight shot.. nothing like that.
