My wife didn’t read reviews before ordering for her mom. Flowers were scheduled for yesterday, we get an email today that they will be sent on Tuesday. Apparently, by their reviews, this is a common trick

Use a local florist that isn't tied to a service...the services take nearly 40% of the money you spend, the florist makes very little on the deal.
Use yelp or google to find a florist in the area and call them direct - you get better flowers, they make a decent living

I second this on ANY online flower scam.
All they do is call the local florist, who makes so little it behooves then to screw the deal.
