Door Latches: '65 Convertible Vs Non-Convertible

I don't remember my '65 Barracuda Formula S having a sliding alignment tab inside the door latch, I thought it was fixed in place. Unless it was stuck/frozen. My question is this, is the sliding tab from a '65 Signet Convertible (shown in the three progressive photos below) a specific convertible item or is it common to all A bodies of that year? Thank you.

Same latch in all '64-6 Abody front doors. The only related item unique to the convertible is the extra alignment striker separate from the latch.
