I have just about finished my interior on my 1967 Barracuda notchback. I'm ready to install new door panels, but had to first reinstall the door locks from when I painted her. When I tried to operate the lock(s) they don't work. I didn't do anything that I can recall that would have effected how they work. When I check the mechanism, I can see that one part is in the way of another. I'm pretty sure that I reinstalled them correctly, and even when I try pushing down on the lock button itself, the same problem exists, with or without the key lock installed. Any knowledge out there you can share with me would be appreciated. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Heres some pics I found, not the greatest, but Ill try and get more of the lock mechanism tonight

This may sound silly but was the door closed?
Locks on a 67 will not operate unless the door is closed.
