Hello,

I am getting ready to replace the drip rail weather strip along the top on my 72 Duster.
I know it squeezes into the aluminum track, my question is should I use some adhesive/sealant on the backside when I install it?

Thanks

I have the exact same question. I was going to tackle this in the next few weeks.

No don't do that. Seal the rubber ends if you wan't using a black non hardening sealer before putting the push pins in. don't put anything on the soft seal.
