drive ratio change?

Is it possible to swap out or buy new gear ratios to customize an a -833? I found an a body tranny but it's an over drive type with that quasi granny 1st gear. I want a longer 1st.

You would need to change the entire gearset, along with the mainshaft. Probably best to just look for another trans if you don't want the OD
