The light polished Silver Bezel. Not the dark Argent Silver Bezel. The photo is the lighter silver. New condition only.

What you're looking for isn't 71 sharktooth grill specific. A 1970 duster grill headlight door/bezel is the same as well as a 1969 valiant. Other than possibly a different shade of silver they share the same part. I do have what you need but the shipping probably cost more than it's worth. I'm sure you can find closer to home . Good luck

I ordered one online nos it came the dark silver, see photo. The grille is a much lighter shade as seen in the other photo. The dark silver doesn't match. I cannot remember where my passenger bezel came from but it is the correct light silver shade for the grille it matches perfectly. Is their a paint code for the lighter shade of silver? The argent silver is too dark.

Maybe check with herb"s parts. They used to carry paint such as the silver Argent but as far as the code goes I don't have that info. Maybe you could take both bezels to a paint supplier and ask for a match ???

Found this online. It says light argent silver grille paint. Can anyone confirm this is in fact the light silver like the grille I have and the passenger bezel. Or does it just say light argent and it is really the same argent the darker color found on the nos bezel?

Grille has to match the bezels...Lol....Car is damn near perfect. That would irritate me to no end..lol...Wonder if anyone else is having a problem matching the shark tooth grille to the bezels? I'll keep searching and figure it out eventually...Thanks

Nice car. If you're worried so much about the correct shade of Argent silver then I'm guessing the 340 callout along with the hood scoops need to be addressed. 340 dusters never came from the factory with hood scoops. And the V24 option hood decal appears to be in the wrong location. Regardless it's one to be proud of .

Mopar has two shades of what they call "argent", light and dark, and many other shades of silver. Now of course just because it says "light" on the can, doesnt mean its going to match bang on, but it should not be the darker color. You may get lucky and find a manufacturer whos light argent matches your grill bang on, they are not all created equal, and as a former painter, I would do what @Bennoel 10 said, get enough light argent thats to your liking, and paint the entire grill, that way it all matches, if you dont feel comfortable with all the masking and spraying, get a pro to help you out. Or, just keep buying different brands of light argent until you find a bang on match, but that could get pricey!
Silver is a tough color to match, especially a butt match like you are trying to do, even your pic in #9 isnt a bang on match like you say it is, unless the color is different in person. Your bezel in pics one and two even appear to be different shades, the driver side appears to be light argent, and the passenger side appears to be darker, I actually can see four different shades of silver, but it could just be the lighting :) .
Ive heard good things about this company, you may want to check with them and get their opinion
