duster hood sccops

Does anyone have any information on the hood scoops that were offered on the 73 Duster's. I have seen a picture from a brochure of some sort and the 340 equipped cars had a 1969 Barracuda 440 sort of scoops. Which are the small ones on each side of the hood up by the windshield. I have never seen a car with these on it before. Does anyone know if it was an actual option? I thought it would be cool to have them on my 74 Duster. If I could find them cheap however. Thanks

Yes, they were optional on the 73 Duster Twister. I remember one in the mid 80's that a local elderly man had. At the time, I didn't realize it and thought it was crazy that someone would put 69 Cuda' pack scoops on a 73 Duster. At the time I thought they looked out of place. I was very familiar with the scoops as my older brother owned a 69 440 Cuda' notchback that he purchased in 73. As far as finding the scoops cheap...good luck!
