Please see the above post. Thnx.
Please let me know if you got photos, Thanks
I can see the photos, thanks for posting them. It is not the type my pal is looking for though.
That looks like a 71-74 B-body radio. It has the mounting screw hole on the front right side of the face. This is the mounting screw that is remove through the ash try opening. The E-body radio do not have that mounting point.
OK, Thanks, Had both B body and E body Mopars, I have several more mopar radios,do you think you could correctly identify them for me?
I'm not a radio expert, but here is a picture of a 71 and later B-body AM/FM mono radio on top and a 72-74 E-body AM/FM Stereo on the bottom.
Can you identify these two? Both 8 track
Top one may be for a E-body. It is missing the track change knob. That unit in the right condition can be quite desirable. The lower one looks to be from the late 70's to the mid 80's. There would limited demand for it. This for sale post has turned into a discussion so it might end up being moved. I have added the link below for more information. How To Identify E Body Radios After reading the link. I now do not believe that the top one is a E-body radio. It now appears to be a a C-body radio.
Thanks for the info.
There is allot of chit chat on this for sale thread, But I do believe these posts are helpful to any and all buyers .. For now lets let it ride
E-bodies had radio three options; AM AM / FM AM / 8 track. No factory AM / FM / 8-track combo ever in an E-body. Some of us have parts books, so if you can post clear photos of the labels showing the 7 digit part numbers it would help ID these for you.
