Just to kill a few minutes, I pulled the plugs on my ramcharger. These have less than 600 miles on them. Every plug had a different wear pattern on them. This is an example of #6 & #8 cylinders. 20210414_151220.jpg

I tried them. I pulled them back out and pitched them in the trash can.

I'm kinda that too. I got them on a rock auto closeout for $.80 each, so I'm in them cheap enough

That's where they are headed too. I swear I have one where the porcelain around the electrode is cracked.

Like RRR, I tired them once, and right in the square file cabinet. Would not even use them in my lawn mower...

My experience was really not comparable but I'll tell you about it anyway. I had an 08 Jeep Wrangler for a time. I tried them in it on a whim. Had I not known any better, I would have SWORN it had toque converter shudder. But I took the plugs out and put the stock Champions back in and it never did it again. I've heard similar stories with computer controlled vehicles too.

Heard that from a few people too. Put them in, and right out they came. Sadly, champions are going in the same can now too. Have had a few failures in the last couple years.
Im down to delco and ngk, as that’s whats available locally.

Exactly! I was driving home yesterday and the bitch started instantly vibrating like it tossed the wheel weights or a belt slipped in a tire. They are in the trash already. Gonna give the. Bosch double platinum a try at .90c each

When those first came out, my dad's "go to" engine guy had ported a head for him to copy all the ports on. He commented on what spark plugs to use when shaping that area. Off the cuff he mentioned he and another customer were dyno tuning his engine and the customer brought a set of these plugs to try. He said they lost 20 hp loss across the board with no other changes. He never said what the engine build was but he did say to stay far away. Bosch had some similar plugs and I never heard anyone who had them like them either.

I had a friend give me a set of the E3 plugs. I had new Autolites in my cars so I thought I would use 'em in the lawn mower. Put one in and mower died halfway through the front yard. Took it out and replaced it and finished the lawn. A week later when it was time to mow the mower wouldn,'t start. So, I took the plug out and put in the old used Autolite which is still running years later. All eight of of those junk gimmicks went directly to the trash. So, I wouldn't run that junk in my mower either, even though I tried!

Did anybody notice they list one part number for all small blocks ? I questioned them thru a e-mail and asked "These engines used different heat ranges thru the years. What heat range is yours?" No response. That was when they first came out.Never looked at 'um again.

About a decade ago a buddy turned me on to Pulstar Plugs. They're a bit pricey, but that's all I've run ever since. They keep the #1 cylinder on my 4.0 Jeep GC from oil fouling (no other plug survives cylinder #1).

I remember back at the Buick dealer back in the day (1978-79 ish) just changing a customers car to factory Ac spark plugs got rid of the rough idle. Of course I'm sure the AC Delco plugs now are Chinese junk...

I went strictly NGK decades ago after having an issue with every other plug. (Except Autolite)
Never had a plug problem with any motor ever again, not even the street bikes, dirt bikes or even the mower.

I did the E3 thing when they first came out. Replaced the plug wires because I thought had gone south, ended up being the plugs.
I have had very good performance from Autolite and Denso plugs depending on the application.

Never had any use for AC junk, used to go with Champion and nothing else for years, they started to get crappy, and now I use Autolite or NGK for most of my vehicles. I have used Bosch and found them to work well too.
