Custom machined gas cap from a member on here (can't remember his name). Nice piece, but I don't have the car anymore. Gas cap never even sat on the car outside, I test fitted it and then put it in the closet "for later".

Sorry, took a bunch of pictures and didn't realize most of them were junk until I went to post them. I will make sure to update it tomorrow.
 
No sorry. I know the late one's wont fit the early cars (don't remember the cutoff though), so I'm pretty sure it wont work. I can try it when I get home and let you know, but I don't expect it will work.

Sorry, about the delay, I remembered to check this, but forgot to post it.

Looks like the earlier caps are shorter. The billet one isn't tall enough for the tangs to lock in and allow it to turn. I guess you could take it apart and space the bar up to make it work, but it's not vented either which the later cars need.
