Early A Body Sway Bar End Link Factory Torque Specs?

Re-installed the factory stabilizer bar on the '65 Formula S today. I read on the internet (which I take with a grain of salt) a general answer was to tighten the end links until the rubbers squeeze just enough to pass the diameter of the washers, maybe 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch. Then back in 2015, I found a thread on this FABO forum listing 100 inch pounds from some kind of official source. What is best path to take here? Thank you.

Tight. As long as the bushing is compressed but not pushed completely out. A little common sense goes a long way here.
 
I simply tighten until the bushings just begin to crush. I don't use a torque spec, because every bushing is a little different and also some are urethane. That's why I go by bushing crush.
 
Agree.
Was always taught to tighten until rubber is just about even, or slightly larger than the washer.
That goes for shock absorbers too.
If you think about it, cranking it down too much will smash the washer and cut into the rubber over time.
