So I found on article on a slant six website and it included a pic of many different slant six oil pans next to each other.

Not much is out there in regards to the stamped numbers on the oil pans themselves.

Anyone know what application a "265" part number goes to?

Does anyone recognize this oil pan? Is it for an early A ?

It's blue. That's a bad sign.

My book only lists V8 pans. Slant 6 lives matter!

No numbers on my 63 pan. Ive also got a 265 pan when i bought my peanut plug head from some guy, said it was from the same motor.

Heres a 265 pan and a stock 63 pan side by side. It may work, might hang a little lower. If it works you need the correct pick up as well.

Looking at the red one, do you see the wide arc on the right side, both sides really, that is the point of contact on the k frame.
