It's likely way worse than that, as it's a constant load while it's running. A stereo comes and goes dependin' on the musak

It is an interesting idea.

I can see how upgrading the electric system to run something like this might be an option when there may not be room for additional brackets and belts and such.

Plus you could hide it for looks reason and probably a little easier and maybe cheaper to install.
Reliability and parts maybe a problem, I'm not an air-condition person, in my cars I like windows down but figure some might like this option.

You better add 2-300 to upgrade the hell out of your charging system.

I have looked into them. I was told you will need an alternator around 80 ap, 2 batteries a800 amp. They told me that it would run about an hr sitting with the a/c running at aththe rest area without the gas engine running.
