Eddy to Carter air cleaner adapter

Hi all, orig carb on dads 273 4bl wasa Carter. One im ccurrently running is an Edelbrock 1405.
Problem with that is throat openings are different sizes, which causes a problem with mounting original chrome air breather.
Got a piece of aluminum pipe dimensions 5 1/4" od, 4 7/8" ID and 1 1/8" tall. Fits like a glove and not seen at all with air cleaner installed.
I have some extra if anyone wants me to make them one.

Hey,
How much higher does this make the air cleaner sit? The Offy intake on my current motor adds a little bit of height already.
.. Id rather not have to use a shorter filter. It would be nice to put the original chrome back on.
