Mopar King
Beginner / Need of Help
Hey guys, I just had a small question - I have a Edelbrock Performer Carburetor Electric Choke - part #1406 on a 318. I was wondering if a stock Fuel pump would be sufficient for the carb or do I need to get a performance fuel pump?
I tried searching the answer on here and Google-ed it looking around but to no a vale. The reason i ask is because I was worried about the PSI not being enough to feed the carb. any insight will be greatly welcome.
On the Edelbrock manual online it says:
-- On IDLE it should not be no more than 6.0 PSI
-- with most fuel pumps the minimum fuel pressure is encountered at high rpm and WOT(wide open throttle). Fuel Pressure should not drop to 2.0 psi, if it does a fuel pump with more capacity is needed
