First I need to know, does the standard RPM intake fit low enough to where I can run my stock air cleaner for my 74 duster 360 and not have any interferance with the hood?

Second, is it what I am looking for? I want a dual plane intake that matches my engine top end. is the performer rpm a good match? THIS IS A STREET CAR.

    Cam specs:
    Lift: .484
    Duration: 284/291

Heads have port work, 2.02 intakes ect...

So does it sound like the RPM is a winner for my engine? Or is there a better alternative?

Put a 7 1/6 -1/2 open spacer on the LD340 and you won't be thinking about an rpm version anymore.
The runner shape difference has minimal effect, i actually like the velocity of the LD , plenum size and the divider opened is where magical difference is more so.

A concern of mine is if I can make that fit with a spacer, and still use a stock air cleaner and not have hood clearance issues.

Edit: sorry, i see you were talking to someone else.

are you talking abut factory snorkel air cleaner?thing about spacers are they work differently on different engine combos.nothing seems to be set in stone. 1'' 4 hole spacer worked better on the aforementioned ld340 intake better than a 1'' open spacer.i havent played with spacers yet on the rpm yet, im still enjoying the new tire frying torque i gained
