Electric water pump and alternator

Anyone running an electric race type water pump with the stock type alternator and brackets. Are there pumps that this will work with. I know they take special backing plate some even a special timing chain cover.

I think you would be a lot happier building a custom low mount high amp alternator. Less prone to throwing belts, cleaner look, more amps to compensate for things like a water pump, fuel pump, nitrous, etc.

I run a moroso electric water pump with a stock style alternator using march pulleys and brackets with a surpantine belt,works great never had an issue
