last couple of days my 360 has had a miss,it will not rev up! new battery voltage reg.ecu, sometimes it at a low rpm and misses but mostly will not rev past 3800 :x thinking its the distributor,it starts fine runs and idles good just will not rev!!vaccum advance is unhooked, maybe its time for a new distributor?

whats your timing like??? does it have power under a load??? if it has no power under aload its more than likely your timing is off some place either at the dist. or the cam\crank...also i think your coil could cause a miss and not rev right.......i've also hear the bushings on the dist. wearing and causing problem..just some other things to look for. I'd check timing...it would be the cheapest and easiest thing to do...
