Decided to tie up some loose ends on my dart a few weeks ago. Had a small water pump leak and some oil seepage around the timing cover and valve covers. Anyway, tore it down, did the necessary repairs. On to the paint, a buddy of mine gave me a fresh can of Por15 hemi orange. I thought I was saving money ! After the first coat it was obvious the color was off. So a quick order for some Bill hirsch hemi orange engine paint. I used his turquoise on my 383 and was very happy with it, will never use anything else as long as he has the color. A good coat of his paint with a decent brush and now the engine is looking good again ! For anyone who is getting ready for some "street" hemi orange painting, go Bill hirsch! Here's a few shots and a comparison of the 2.
