on amazon for 799 a pair with free shipping. i know not the orig eq heads, but just have a stock rebuild. stock bore, stroke, cam and compression. see any concerns? tia

they ok for a stock rebuild on a 5.9 then? it is going into my dart that will have the factory f.i. speedmaster has their magnum castings on sale for 240.00 each, but when you add valves, seals, springs, retainers, you are there close.

Dont do it without pulling them apart before install
My last set of EQs (only ones I've ever had that were sold as out of the box ready to go, I've gotten bare ones and assembled myself before this set) cost me a redo on a complete 360 mah overhaul because of tight guides, about 3 hours run time out of the gate and <6 road miles I had valves kis pistons and bend....
I had to take them in and pay for a freaking valve job on a BRAND NEW set of heads ... And the machine shop couldn't believe how tight the valves were. They said they've had heads that sat in a pasture for 30 years they didn't have to fight with/ drive them out as much as they did these EQs.
They themselves bought a set and ruined a customers engine they were rebuilding and had to eat because of the same thing. Bolt on and go, they are NOT!!!! If I ever buy another set I'll go back to bare and assemble them myself.
I have more than plenty of head hardware from cracked oe magnum heads to go around...

Yup, that and leftover machining debris in the ports- @318willrun did a nice video on what he found with the "ready to run" heads.
Expect to tear them down and check 'em over before using them.
Since the cost of the RTR heads, and the SpeedMaster bare heads + hardware is so close I'd be tempted to go with the bare heads since you'd be tearing them down anyhow... plus you get to use the pieces you want (as opposed to the "pieces you get") when you (re)assemble them.
