exhaust routing

i have a 318 in my 73 dodge dart swinger, it the exhaust always scrapes on bumps and dips in the road. my exhaust is routed under the bar that connects the tie rods, should this be over the bar or under the bar? if anyone has any photos that would be sweet. Thank you
 
If everything is built up and tight, you won't even see the exhaust system on the car [maybe collectors]

In comparison here is a pic of TTI tubes on a '80 M-body...point being: you have the option to tuck the primary pipes in, but these headers are a pricey proposition...albeit, well worth it!

TTI has a special head pipe for factory manifolds, that snakes around the Driver's side Torsion Bar. Got a flat spot in the pipe to get around the torsion.

i think he means the header pipes under the steering centre link. maybe the car's lowered?

doh.. he said tie-rods.. i read "torsion bars" which was weird... so i figured he meant the crossmember.. sorry bout that
