This is from my late friend Gregg Luneauks race shop who
was one of the top Max Wedge racers and engine builder
in the World!

I understand this from my friends on the forum to be a Rare
426 Wedge engine with provisions for 4 bolt mains and a very
thick reinforced casting for performances. I understand only a small run of
them were ever produced for NASCAR racing and some Stationary engines. I
have never seen another one in my 60+ years of NHRA racing Mopars. The
Main Web area and bottom look pretty beefy to me.

It has no numbers anywhere on it except for a "R8" on front of the block.

It is extremely low use with negligible observable ridge or taper (just a few mouse tracks in the Dust).
However, as thick as it appears to be you could bore it out a bunch and still sonic really well.

$1,250.00

Will deliver to So Cal or anywhere else I am racing (Colorado nest week).

This is the only Production Block I have seen in my nearly
70 years in this hobby, that is not a race block or aftermarket
with provisions in the casting for 4 Bolt Mains.

I think this would make a great Superstock or higher horsepower
application with spending the high cost of an aftermarket block!
