In looking at the factory parts book I see 3 different numbers.
2462838 - 1967
2535533 - 1968
2535534 - 1969-72
Each year only had one number so no difference for different engines etc.

Does anybody know the differences in these?

What are the diameter of the bars each year?

Thanks,

Alan

1968 cuda BB car= sway bar is .940-.950. Slightly larger in the middle. Don't remember any numbers on it before painting. Let us know if you find out why.

My 67 dart gt with 273 and rally suspension package has a 0.879" sway bar, for what ever it is worth

I believe the geometry is all the same up through '72, so the only difference could be diameter.

383/440 cars got larger sway bars, but I'd have to go out in the garage to measure one (we've got two) to compare to the 340 bar for my GTS, but they were definitely different size. Galen parts book seems to use the same part number for different size bars, but lists them as .88" and .92".

lists them as .88" and .92".

0.88 is a match for my SB 67 at 0.879.

and 0.92 is most likely the BB bar like Murray's 1968 cuda BB car= sway bar at .940-.950 (20 to 30 thou does seem a bit much of a measurement inconsistency though?)

Whereas that may be true, the parts book only list one number. There in-lies the question.
