Is it out of an A body? what year ? What size tennis shoe ?

Guess I am in for an education.... I thought all BB's in factory A body's had manual steering.... Learning something new everyday.

If it is out of an A-body, then why is the drivers motor mount the conversion style, instead of an original type A-body BB mount?? Or am I seeing this wrong?
I’m guessing it’s a Sb K member. Can u just buy the mounts? Kim

Steve...I think thats a small block K...note the cut-out area on the drivers' side for BB oil pump clearance...not needed on a real one.

I have put BBs in Abodys with a SB K frame without a problem a few times. Maybe the car had that done to and he didn't know .

To use a small block k-frame with a big block you have to cut a chunk out of the motor mount pad to clear the oil pump. I have had half a dozen like that and currently have a 69 GTS 340 4-speed convertible that has that modification because it had a 383 in it when I bought it. The k-frame above is definitely a small block.
Well as it turns out, it is a sb kframe with BBP kelsey hayes. No sweat from the seller, hes a good guy. I cant use them, but if a member is interested in this setup complete?
