I'll be there, probably with the Barracuda unless I'm in the swap. Guess I could bring the Barracuda and be in the swap.

Alan

planning to be there with the valiant. just going to park outside and stroll the grounds

Its a good 6 hour drive for me. Have you any confirmation on how many sellers will be there. i go for the parts mainly.

Hope Newsome doesn't shut everything down again before the show

Not too far for me. Never been. Maybe the girlfriend and I will head out.

Pooie, 800 miles each way for me. I plan on being there but like last year I'm not doing crap until a couple days before hand.

I'm hoping to get the twin to Alan's fastback together in time to make it. Just got it operational, but the inside is pretty stripped, and it needs tires, exhaust, radiator... list keeps expanding.

I’m still trying to convince the wife. She’s not to thrilled about a 19 hour drive in the car. She’s done 9 hours every year going to cruising the coast. Just getting out of Texas is a tuff one. My son may end up taking her place. We’ve gone to Vegas and the Carlisle together. Which is a lot fun with him in the car. More fun with her when we get to the hotels. I really just need to get away after going through COVID. It will be cheaper for my son to go. We usually drive straight through and stay at cheap hotel or camp. My wife on the other hand likes 4 star hotels.

At this point we are planning on being in the swap, especially with Mopar Alley cancelled.

Some nearby area hotels. Our traditional Airtel Hotel is temporarily closed for guests.

Carriage Inn -Best Western 1.1 miles from show - near Burbank and 405 exit

Hampton Inn - Sherman Oaks -1.1 miles from show near Burbank and 405 exit

Holiday Inn Express - Van Nuys -right next to Galpin Auto Sports 3.2 miles from show right Roscoe blvd 405 fwy exit

Extended Stay America -Woodland Hills -6.5 miles from show off Winnetka Ave 101 fwy exit

I’ll be there, not sure if I’m bringing car or swapping yet. Might just spectate.

bring a car and you have preferred parking and a hand spot to drop off parts and get refreshments.

Steve, I asked on Moparts, but I'll ask here, too. We've decided to just come down and spectate, but with Donna's Jazzy (scooter) handicap parking is a must. How much of the parking lot is handicap? Worst case, we'll just get a swap space and not sell anything (can't put the Hyundai in the show...).

Sure you can get a swap space.

we do have handicap spots that are marked in the lot in front. But most of those open up after swap line is all let in at 8-ish.

let me check for more details.

That's not bad. We probably won't get there until around 9. There's also the strategy of getting there at 3am...

As our hobby ages more people are using those spots. Every show, we have one guys that parks a car for sale in a handicap spot up front first thing in morning. Never pays to come in. He’s a retired policeman that resells cars. He has a real handicap card and I’m sure some medical condition. He’s not in a wheelchair.

It sucks that some people manipulate things like that.

With Donna's new hips it's hard to tell that she needs the spot, but there's no way she can walk a show as big as yours. That's why we picked up the Jazzy, so she can still enjoy going to a show. Even the Inland Empire show was big enough that walking it would have been very difficult for her. BUT, when she gets out of the car she appears fine, so I never question anybody...
