Had a problem with alternator not charging had a old one laying round . I put the old one on still not charging. I took both alternators and voltage regulater to elec shop had them checked. The alternators were good voltage regulater was bad. Replaced old type with a electronic one for another type car on everything was working right and also stopped the flickering light problem . Ya !!!
