Flowkooler water pumps

Just want to give advice to someone ordering a flowkooler water pump. I ordered a 2 port pump for a small block part number 1701 and that has 2 outlets they sent me a 1703 that has 3 outlets and wont work with a AC brackets. I called and have been trying to get a replacement for 3 months finally came today. Just to be clear they are very respectful in answering my every phone call to get this replacement to happen and there have been many. So to anyone ordering a 2 port it is best to call them because from what i is was told they will send a 3 port even if you order a 2 just to get it sent out. Not sure on how much in demand a 2 port is but will not work with AC brackets so in my case i needed a 2 port.

Sorry My 69 BB LD Flow Cooler pump has worked awesome for me, A brand New Glen Ray 033 Radiator and all the other 69 factor goodies keep my ride cool and happy!

I bought my cast iron Flowkooler around 2009 and was not aware a 2 outlet was available till I saw this post. So I done notched my AC bracket to clear the third outlet bulge. Had I known a 2 outlet was available would have bought that instead. AC bracket is a butchered up original to mount a Sanden. But I have another original bracket on hand for the heavy giant original AC unit.

Yep exactly wha I didn’t want to do. They are supposed to update there site to confirm that the 3 port will not work with AC brackets. Due to my experience. I just wanted to put this out there for anyone that may want to use there pumps.

I don't think any of the '69 and back small block A Bodies use that third water pump outlet. So why Flowcooler list a 3 outlet as correct is mysterious? Why don't they list 2 outlet instead? Anyone know of any mopar passenger car that would use that third outlet?

Prior to putting AC back in my car I had to look at that ugly bulged and plugged third outlet for 15 years every time I popped the hood. At least now its covered by the AC compressor.
