Dodge Mopar 318 340 360 Fluid Crankshaft SFI Balancer

Yeah I have one. Avoid it like the plague! It was undersized to the point it wouldn't go on after heating and using an install tool. It began to curl up the metal inside the balancer. It's also 1/2" longer overall, screwing up your pulley alignment. Also the pulley bolts are tapped out to like a 24 tpi pitch, so you'll need new bolts. And a 1/2" longer crank bolt too. It's free for the taking.. Good gawd

Thanks for that, was wondering if it would throw out the allignment of the belts.

Just got a Pro-race, haven't installed it yet but the quality is impressive for the price. And it's virtually the same pulley offset as stock, well okay it's 5.5 thousandths longer. I think that should be fine.

Is this the one you are using: 34277 Let me know how it sets up

You got it- hopefully get it installed soon here. There's another post on here if you do a search for pro-race you'll find it. It's the 34277 balancer, and it's pretty good IIRC, not too undersized but somewhat tight. Don't want that thing rattling around at 5K rpm
