Found: 1969 340 8-11-69 casting date

I recently acquired a 1969 340 block. Casting date is 8-11-69 so guessing it’s likely a late 1969 build. The pad in front of the driver’s side head is EW34028400072 and the partial VIN by the oil pan is 9B370709.


Believe it’s from a 1969 Barracuda

I suspect the casting date is 3-11-69. By 8/11/69 they are producing 1970 model cars on the line. The VIN is a’69 car.
