I found this on the floor mat under neath the steering wheel.
Any idea what it could be from or what it is? Is it part of the turn signal switch?

That makes sense because I removed the speedo cable from the car.

It's not going back in so it will not be an issue. I'm running a GPS speedo now

It's an Itellitronix 6 gauge unversal kit that I adapted into the stock gauge bezel.

Thanks for sharing. Is there a way to get a picture of the dash? Is your car a Dart? I can't tell but i like your choice, it looks great.

Thanks Stephen, I'm looking for ideas on how to reduce the glare on the upper side of the bezel, you can see in the photo just how bad it is.

Maybe try a strip of tape that has a matte finish as a trial on the underside of the bezel to absorb some of the reflections. Like the do for dash tops.
                          Just a thought.

Tried the matte tape and it only makes a slight reduction, tried a piece of black vinyl material and that was better but not enough, I notice the back side of the vinyl has a felt look to it so I tried that and it took quite a bit of glare out, so maybe some black felt might be the answer.

Is the stock lens still in place? I know with light it need diffused and absorbed. There is a anodization process called Optical Black that will absorb a certain range of color. Id really like to know how you mounted it. I'd like to do the same for my GTS and I have a spare gauge shroud.

I did not re-use the stock lens, instead I used a sheet of clear polycarbonate which has two layers of 30% tint on it. To mount the gauge unit in to stock bezel you need to cut a slot in the bezel on the bottom side for the gauge circuit board to set into and drill two holes in the top of the bezel in the lip area that sits hidden in the dash, these two holes with the kit supplied bolts will anchor the top of the gauge circuit board. You will have to custom make the lens cover to fit the bezel and drill holes for buttons on the gauge panel in the correct positions, drill them larger than needed as the buttons are very fragile and binding can damage them. I made a back cover for back of the bezel from the same kind of hardboard that you would find behind the back seat. I purchased a male and female electrical 12 pin plug and wired it up. I also used as much of the factory wiring as I could by soldiering nails on to the wires and plugging the nails into factory harness, that way it can be put back to stock configuration if desired. You will also have to cut the brake warning light bulb housing off of the old gauge cluster and bolt to the side of the bezel.
