I have always been overly sensitive to isocyanides. A good respirator is not enough, no booth, and I am just a hobby guy that has done more than a few over the last 30 years. I have several cars to do, and I will just have to get a fresh air system. I started looking on the net yesterday, and I did see some complete for a round $450. turbine compressor, hood, hose ( needs more than 25 ft!).... That I can afford, but I was afraid I would have to spend twice that. Anyone with opinions, input, experience ?
your mopar didnt come with the fresh air vents under the dash? or are we talking about paint booths here?
That's a tuff one for me I am not sensitive to isocanides but maybe check into an oiless compresser or a fan and bring air from out side to your mask. Been in a paint booth most of my time and never thought about it.
Fresh air system piped to your full face mask. I have NO paint booth like all hobbiest. A good respirator with correct filter is OK for anyone that is NOT sensitive to these chemicals. I have also been told the effect of such as isocyanides is cumlative also.
Hit google auto fresh air system. It is a turbine compressor, and a hose to your full face mask with a hood, no doubt the more $$ the better the unit. Yes same idea as scuba, you are breathing fresh non contaminated air.
