As I’m nearing the final phases of my build it’s time to face the exhaust routing which I was hoping they would exit at near stock location with factory tips but since I relocated my rear leaf springs inboard not sure if they will clear has anybody successfully ran the tail pipes all the way out with Springs relocated? If so pictures would be appreciated thank you

It's a tight fit for A-bodies and a good set 2.5" exhaust pipes to fit through there. If you've modified anything back there, you will most likely need to make custom tailpipes. You can likely still use the 'kit' tails but they will undoubtedly have to be modified.

One trick to consider is to reduce tailpipe diameter along the gas tank.

Relocated by how much? Makes a difference.

Or get a short section of oval/oblong pipe so you don't lose any diameter. One section can do both sides:

Use what Treblig showed & a quality exhaust shop can make the oval round in order to attach the exhaust tips.

Damn, do I have to stand on my head to make sense of the pictures. LMAO It looks like your tank needs to be centered up & run the oval pipe on each side.

I used tti x exhaust and came out the rear
But I also made a 20 gallon fuel cell because my tank was holy.

Left side looks good, right side looks impossible

Your tank needs to move over towards the drivers side, the straps are not in the inset of the tank.

I agree but that's how the tank sits against the spare tire well. notice it really can't shift leftward there's zero gap between the well and the tank. It's a tank I bought from Aeromotive fuel systems with an in-tank electric pump. Are other tanks centered on the spare tire well?

IIRC, most of the 68 & later tanks were centered to afford running dual exhaust. I haven't had a car with a stock tank in it in years, most of my recent cars have had fuel cells mounted in the spare tire well, or I did away with the well & pit a flat floor in them.

Yup I regret not doing away with the tire well.

My current car 71 Demon bracket racer has a flat aluminum floor in it with a rubber mat that the fuel cell sits on with the sump below the pan. I took my time & slowly cut the original floor pan out since the car was already painted. I only had one spot about the size of a pencil eraser that I had to touch up. You have to look really hard to find it now.

The correct location for straps for a 1972 Dart. Yes it's my Car.

So did you relocate leaf springs also? Have you installed exhaust?

2.5 exhaust. No I did not relocate the springs. My first post was for the correct location of the gas tank. That's all I can offer to help you.

Your exhaust will need to pass over the top of the leaf spring. The tips will come out outside of the leafs. I have a summit racing exhaust on my dart and it fit with minor trimming of the tailpipes. My leafsprings are moved 3" inboard.

I would take pics but I removed my exhaust a few days ago to change mufflers.

You can see that it's already really tight with the leaf springs in the stock position and a stock tank!

This one you can't see the leaf springs but it sure sounds nice! :)
