Has anyone updated their fuse box? Mine are corroded and I’ve added a fuse for electric fans. I saw a fuse relay panel from leash electronics. Would this be a good option to swap the fuse box or what do y’all suggest? Thanks

I don't keep track anymore, but there are several outfits that sell various fuse boxes. Likely most any of the wire harness outfits. You can (could) even buy them made by buss (fuses)

I haven't updated the original box, but I have bought a few of these over the years to augment. For $14, they're damn solid and even have the little "blown fuse" LED indicator and a nice ground distribution block! My Dart has one for keyed and one for continuous and they work great.

Would running the keyed on through a relay help things? The leash box has the ignition side run through a relay first. That’s a good price using two. I need to see what is battery hot and keyed

Relays are always a good thing. Supposedly it can handle the amperage, but Chinese amps are calculated differently.

And to be clear, I use this for aftermarket. Fans, stereo, upgraded lighting, air conditioner, backup cam, etc.

I see some things are battery hot and some are keyed. Do you know what needs to be hot all time and what needs to be keyed? Thanks

Not on your year. On mine, I have radio constant, cigarette lighter, headlights, keyless entry/trunk release, and the a/c fan on constant. Some of those may seem a bit wonky but work for me.

Really nothing on an older car NEEDS to be constant for the car to work - it was only with the advent of radio memory and computerized engine management that we started adding stuff. Everything else is a luxury - interior lights and other things people want to have when the door opens.

I recommend buying one of these if you are going to delve too much into your wiring (note, the link is for my car, but the company is great)

On my 65 Dart I used this Eaton 15305-1 fuse panel of which the sides are separate electrically and use mini blade fuses. I ended up installing it in the glove box.

I use one side for always Hot and the other side for key On/Acc. I have completely rewired my underdash harness as I am using several Dakota Digital modules which require either always hot or key on OR for one module, both.

I needed a fuse panel with enough fuses to cover all my requirements for always hot - the Dakota Digital modules, the power tailgate window, power driver’s side seat, driver’s side power lumbar, brake light circuit, parking lights, and auxiliary 12 volt power aka cigar light receptacle. For key On/Acc - heater blower motor, door power windows, heated seats, etc.

That looks perfect for Vixen. Her fuse box is a little rough. I'll never need more than six fused circuits. Thanks for posting that.

He makes a lot of drag car controllers too. I like he runs the ignition side through a relay
