So...I'm wondering if anybody else has ran into these issues. My '65 Barracuda has only one tank strap and bolt, this agrees with the parts book for Valiant and Dart showing one each 2203430 strap and one each J bolt (stud) 1671610. In shopping for a replacement, I'm only finding them sold in pairs (Vans). I emailed Vans, and first they responded that I was wrong, then I sent them the page and part number from the '65 parts book, and they have not responded back. Unfortunately I'm finding that vendors don't seem to be doing their homework on the parts they sell. Second example, I bought a washer bottle with pump kit from Mopar Mall 3 years ago. Now I go to install the pump and the bolt holes don't line up. I contacted Mopar Mall (who won't take it back) and I'm told "they only make one pump". This is not true as I've come to find out my Barracuda and my '61 Chrysler 300G use the same washer pump, (2822928) which measure 3-1/8" overall at mounting base, and the replacement from Mopar Mall, and other vendors I've contacted, measure 3-1/2" at the base which means the holes don't line up. This is why it is risky to order parts ahead of need. I did just order a new pump from Herb's Parts (now owned by AMS Obsolete) and they claim they have the correct pump, "unlike others on the market". We shall see.

Washer pump? Is it electric? Washer Pump 1959-66, Windshield Washer Hose Kits/Components, 102-WP2 Reproduction, NOS and Used Mopar Muscle Car Parts

Sounds like your set but if you want a pump that the holes line up get this one.

I have an extra tank strap.
