Like Cracked said - you have to have the heads disassembled and cleaned and you'll trash the positive seals pulling the valves out. But, IMO, it's still a feelable gain. It's more than a couple hp, especially if the problems are big and most aftermarket intakes are pretty bad. I do it on all the engines I build.
