Been looking into swapping my '09 5.7 Hemi into my '67 Dart, however I don't exactly have it in my budget to go out and buy some $2,000 Holley stand alone ECU. I know you can get factory ECUs unlocked, I'm not sure where to go or how much that costs for an '09 5.7l, but my main issue is the harness. My engine is in a wrecked truck and the wiring is damaged. I thought about going to a junkyard to get a new harness but I don't really want to deal with all the extra wires for the trucks headlights, turn signals, wipers, ext. I know there's harnesses for GM LS engines that are just the engine harness with and OBD II port so you can tune the computer. Is there something like this offered for the Hemi? If so, where, how much, and does it control the 6HP transmission too or would I need another harness for that too??

Thank you, any help appreciated!

The car harnesses are fairly self contained unlike the truck harnesses. You actually have to add a plug for some of the power connections and such.

So you're thinking it'd be easy enough just to grab a harness from a Charger or a 300 or something in a junkyard to run it?

I agree with the Hotwireauto.com option. I've installed around eight of his now. Customer service is top notch.

Another very new option is Blackbird Performance. They have a ready to run kit for 750 bucks. Check them out on the web or Fakebook. I have no experience with this kit.......yet. For my next need I will be calling on them. They KNOW gen 3 hemis!

Yes, sort of. In my case, I grabbed a ‘08 harness so I have to add the SRV and VVT control wires, but beyond that I think they work. At least for the earlier PCM’s.

I've emailed Sublime twice. About a harness. There's a week between the mails. But they aren't responding. Are they that busy? Or is it possible my emails are being missed.

I never received a response to any questions I had via email from Sublime, until I placed an order, then I did get emailed shipping info.

I reached out to them. Because I read, that a lot of people have good experience with them, and their products. On Monday I tried the contact form on the website itself. I understand that there can be a delay. Because I live in the Netherlands. But if they don't respond at all. I'm going to see if there's a other company that can help me out.

I just want to know what to order. So I get the right stuff. And some miscellaneous questions along. Like a drive by wire gas pedal, or a partnumber for it. Also what they recommend for a fuel pump.
