I’m about to go pick up this 6.1 that I bought and I want to toss together a heavy two-by cradle for the drive... but I don’t have a pan or a gen 3 here to measure. Anyone who has a pan and tape measure, I’d appreciate a minute of your time to get for me the height/width/length of the pan...

Thanks for this!
(Note that I tried to reply before but it appears lost. If this is s duplicate I apologize. I did manage to piece a support together that got it home. The boards ended up 9-1/2” apart but with the aluminum pan, the various gussets around the pan bolts make this method not work as well as with old school stuff.
I got it home, it looks rough like it was dragged through the junkyard on a chain... things broken off for no reason.
I don’t really know what I have, this is my very first gen3. I gambled 1500 on it and as long as there’s no secret disaster inside I’ll come out alright.

As long as there's no holes in anything, you scored big time! Happy Hemi-ing!!

Holes, you say? I think I’m gonna have to spring for some valve covers! Oh, and some coils...

The TB will need a teensy repair

Well, no holes in cylinders and heads anyway.
