Gene Hackman Dead at 95. RIP

I just saw that Jean Hackman died in his home at age 95. I have seen so many of his movies and enjoyed his acting over the years. I saw it on YouTube and researched it on a few other sources before posting this. Rest in peace, Gene.
 
Heard it on the radio when it broke overnight, so many great characters, so many great movies........waiting to see if The Firm, the NSA, or who got Him in the end....
 
Gene had to be in his mid 90's and the lady 60ish. I don't know how old the dog was in dog years or people years but something was rotten in the State of Denmark. He was one of my favorite actors...along with Eastwood, Freeman and a host of others of that caliber. Those guys can't be replaced.
 
Gene was 95, his wife 64. The authorities are calling the circumstances "suspicious," but also do not suspect foul play. ??? I guess we will know more later.
 
Sad. One of the best actors we've had. So many great movies, I mean top rated movies, hard to pick a favorite. So many characters, and he did them all so well. From comedy, with a small crazy bits in Young Frankenstein, and shining over the others in Get Shorty. Then going full blast like in the French Connection's crazy cop, and Mississippi Burning take no **** FBI agent. I always liked a movie he did, that didn't do much, called Heist. Man I enjoyed this guy, more than any other actor. Damn, RIP Sir, and Thank You.

I forgot about Mississippi Burning, excellent film.
 

Don’t know what the facts are as to what happened, but the choice he and his wife made to step back from the world of film with the egos and fame and instead to choose to spend their time together in their beautiful house with their dogs makes him a really genuine bloke and n icon.
 
The Domino Principle, for something a bit more obscure..
