For our GM friends, I have for sale a new installation kit for the GM 8.5 rear axle assembly. It’s still in the original packaging and has never been opened so all kit parts are there. It is a Summit Racing kit with part number SUM-G7816 superseded to SUM-G7916K. Fits passenger car applications from 1973-97 and GM trucks from 1973-96 only. This kit includes all the necessary gaskets, seals, bearings and races needed to restore the axle to like new condition or when installing a new ring and pinion gearset. This kit does not include the axle bearings or seals. I would like to get $55 plus the shipping.
