Good 4.10 gear brand for a 742.

Seems like US gear and maybe motive are good brands . Any gear manufacturers I should stay away from? I don’t see a US gear in 4.10 for my center. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I caught Summit brand gears on sale for my Ford 9" I have built to go under Vixen. I've not run it yet, but they set up quicker than any other brand of gears I've ever set up. The pattern is spot on perfect.

The avatar runs a 4.10 ratio Motive Gear C887410L (but it's a 489 case with a spool). It's been bulletproof in the 3+ years its been in the car.

Hey Mike,

Hope you've been well. I went with DR Diff when I got my 4:30s. I believe they're Motive/Richmond like Mobile Customs noted. No issues so far!

This is what I have as well. Been running it behind a 410 with slicks for ~6 years and on the street with no problems.
