After dinner Thursday, before we hit the couch/undo the belt/rub the belly and take the T-day nap, how about we all take a minute or two and some leftovers for the "rest" of the family that have been "exiled" to the back yard/spare room/shed or wherever so they don't jump on everybody and give them a treat also...I know I'm not the only one thankful to have my 4-legged "kids" to enrich my life. Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!

Our 'other' kids always get a T-day plate after dinner, least we can do for all they put up with from us.

I usually do, but I can't now. Mine has urinary crystals and the vet has put him on a special diet. No more table scraps. I think that he wants to have a talk with the vet "outside" on his next visit, as he is disappointed that he cannot have any more people food...

My guys always get a doggie bag when I come home from turkey dinner. :) Watch out for the turkey bones!
X2 on any bones .... if they are not use to them..
I can guarantee everyone that Buddy and Boogy will get there portion and I don't give them table scraps unless I wash the seasoning off any meat given to them, Don't forget they need there vegetables also, just keep the wheat products away from our Boxer's :happy1:

That suks, Mine is on a special diet as well. Stupid allergies. That just makes more for my fat butt. :blob:

Mine will get a ham bone with fat and some meat. All i can say is I am glad it's not me when he gnaws on a bone.

We never give our dog people food, and never feed him in the house either.
He also knows not to look at you if you are eating, and he's not allowed in the kitchen.
Doing it any other way leads to a dog that expects some of what you are eating and sit's there staring at you while you have dinner.
I hate that about some other peoples dogs and will not tolerate it at home done to me or anyone else in my house.
I love animals but lines are lines.
