Got a friend going to look at a 68 fury 383 for the engine

Got a friend going to look at a pretty beat 68 fury with a 383 / 727 combo for the engine and trans out of it. I told him if you can get it to turn over, try to make a deal on it. Dry climate and hood still on the car, so engine shouldn't be stuck. If it has the A body specific block with the tapped motor mount points on the drivers side front of the block, what is something like that worth as a complete engine and trans to somebody redoing a factory big block 67 or 68 A body. I know it's a needle in a haystack but 67 and 68 however the vin isnt stamped on the engine or trans, only the casting numbers. It might be "correct" for somebodies restoration.

Even if those bosses aren’t tapped, they could be drilled and tapped. Got a friend with a 69 440 Barracuda that took a 440 he got off of me, bolted his ABody motor mount and used it for an exact placement to drill and tap those bosses. Looked like they had been factory drilled for the A Body.
