Got another Valiant- part 2....

So I picked up the Valiant yesterday finally. About as I expected from the pics. As we are finishing loading (most everything was boxed and already in car), gentleman I bought it from says "Oh yeah, there's a pair of 'cuda buckets in the back seat and I have a couple more things inside you can have also". The couple of things turned out to be a floor-shift steering column and an A-body 8 3/4 housing/backing plates/drums.

A body 8 3/4's are always a nice score. I pulled one from a parts car yesterday.

I had already been looking for an 8 3/4 prior to picking up the car as I already have a 3.23 489. Even read through the thread about using an 8.8 furd (was definitely an option). Very nice surprise.

And yet one more score (or 2). My uncle has a Class C MH that needs a lot of work on the camper part but is a running/driving vehicle. Just wants it gone out of his yard. Approx. 50k miles and a 360-4v/727.
