I'd like to get the same. What's Oregon's ballpark cost these days for the 1341?

Should have a little performance note in the exhaust, super good mid-range. Tell us a little more about The the rest of the setup.

Nothin too fancy. Mostly stock magnum, Air gap intake, hei ignition, dougs long tube headers with true dual 2.5" exhaust and flowmasters, hei ignition, AVS2 650 carb. 3.73 rearend (soon to be 3.90) 904 trans.

That’s a solid 1hp/cu in combo right there.

I had a simmilar build in a 70 dart. Hauled serious ***. I think this cam might be slightly more aggressive than that one was
Same. It’s a good combo in a roughly 3000 pound car. Enough to go deep 12s possibly 11s in street trim on a good tire. Now put turbos on it and hang the f..k on.

Ive got 275 60 15 radial T/A right now. Cars probably around 3300 lbs with me in it.

That tire is as hard as the tires on Fred Flinstone’s car. All you’re gonna do is spin. Especially if you have a converter in it. Which btw you should, prob around 2800-3200 stall.

THAT'S IT! I've commented on this once before and that's what it ended up being. Thanks for reminding me.
yeah and that's what i done told you last time too, ya old coot!

in all seriousness, does anybody even make a .750 lifter? [american V8 division only]

Crapped of I know. I remember somebody correcting me on it. Figures it was you. Ya whippersnapper.

Sounds like a great setup for an A body, should be a lot of fun! We went with a similar setup on our 67 Barracuda convertible. After our 1st test drive I can say is, it's really good.

should be easy on valve springs...feels like it's not taking advantage of the benefit of a roller with fast lift.....when I built a magnum headed 318 20 years ago, I had Bullet Cams regrind my cam, I used the HR259/316 lobe (34 degrees less adv. duration, 10 degrees less .050 duration, but the same .2 duration and .017" more lobe lift (.027" more valve lift) on the intake, and HR265/320 on the exhaust (33 degrees less advertised duration, 10 degrees less .050, the same .2" duration and .021" lobe lift (.034" more valve lift). and hughes #1110 springs. that engine ran SUPER strong with 16+" vacuum at idle, and allowed my 5th ave with an A500/3.55 rear be able to be neck and neck with a 5.7L hemi powered chrysler 300C
