Got a new high stall "Hybrid" converter for my 65 Valiant 170 slant six race car. Andre at Edge Racing converters was great. 9 1/2 inch 3200-3400 stall, with a small pilot (early engine), and large (27 spline), late trans. He really bailed me out. The 170 engine only had the big crank pocket in 1968 and 1969, and most 170's have been swapped out for 225's, long ago, so finding a 2 year only crank was getting frustrating, and I have about five early 170 engines.
