I know you skipped over my "buying my duster from this site 2k miles away" post, but I wasn't very comfortable because the car had issues and I couldn't see it. Also, the guy didn't have paypal or anything for my protection.

I checked them out with basic evaluation and did the wire transfer directly to their bank account. They in turn released the title and coordinated with my shipper. My bank backed me up on basic protection as did theirs.

Instinct was my guide, I knew it smelled right and went with it. The risk is more on the buyer side than the seller. A wire transfer can’t be undone, so the seller is well protected. The buyer has the high share of risk.

You are an honest guy, so they have little to fear...it’s their neck on the line if you aren’t. If you get the money by wire transfer, they can’t get it back without significant legal hoops to jump through.

I don't remember skipping over something? Is it something I need to re-read on a post on this thread?..

Holy smokes! For whatever reason I missed both those... 416 and 417 ???
Yes after Googling and looking up online it looks like it was maybe something to do with the beginnings of emissions stuff. Anyways I just have one vacuum line coming from that aftermarket carburetor and have it running to the distributor ... I'm sure there was some kind of vacuum line going to the emissions canister for the gas tank breather... I took all that stuff out anyways...

Yes I would say mine is in better condition than that one for sure.. mine definitely has the 72 73 only Grill and I personally like that one better then the 74 through 76 Grill.. my engine bay speaks for itself, although that one does have air condition capability but I would be shocked completely if that worked.. my Dash and heater box aren't messed up and I would bet you everything that those floor boards underneath that rubber mat are gone... Just like that guy who bought a truck recently here on the Forum in the thread keep my fingers crossed or something... also one really good thing about my truck that if someone buys it out here in the Northwest it has near brand new all terrain Snow rated Les Schwab Tires.. anybody that lives in this area knows Les Schwab reputation as taking care of their tires to the end. And they're known for coming running out of the store literally to help you...
Mind you the tires are not cheap but they back there stuff up with a fierce reputation and the battery came from them as well... Anyways I know everybody's dying for number and I can tell you after this weekend and I order a new carpet kit and door seals and put them in I'll be looking for at least $700 more than that truck rock bottom.. but I may advertise it for more... I really have to see the end product... It's very hard to make a price for a rig that still on jack stands...

I do know one thing when I get the tires back on I'm driving straight up to Les Schwab were they'll come running out to check the air pressure for me.. no sense even bothering bringing out my compressor and my tire gauge...

Passenger side. His is an 85 and does not have the vacuum hose up on the firewall, or I would have sent you a picture.

The passenger side is the easy one you do just literally have to measure from hole to hole on the fender wall. It's the driver side that has the holes for the steering rod and the power steering pump hoses and the brake lines come up as well. But the passenger side is just one 8 or so inch wide piece by 3 foot 4 with the holes for the clips on the fender wall what you should just be able to measure from one to the next pretty easily...

Fortunately the drivers side is all there.

Actually it's dark out here but I could literally lay a tape on top of it laid out flat and give you the the dimensions of how far the holes are apart from Back to Front..?..

no problem I plan on being out there today I'll just throw it out on the ground and put a tape measure on it from Back to Front and put a little white dot or something that's easy to see...
Lord willing I'll make it happen...

I was thinking...........someone should start a thread on not so "correct", but perfectly workable solutions to common things on our Mopars. For instance these rubber mats you used and I JB welded PVC fittings on my son's heater box in his Valiant so that common "you can get it at any parts store" defrost hoses would fit. I think 318WR used shop vac hose to do it. Stuff like that.

How many people want an a body cardboard headliner redone for under 75 bucks? Actually could be done around $35.. I think I need to go back to that thread and say that it's still holding up two years later no problem...

"how to articles" is where all these kind of tips are kept? Moderators have to put them there, though

Okay I'll given quick interpretation of my blueprint LOL it's 40 in Long total and 30 inches of it is 9in wide and the last 10 inches taper to 10in wide... We're looking at it left is the back towards the firewall and the right is the front towards the headlights.. all the holes are 1 in from the near Edge except for the first one is 2 in from the near Edge. The first hole is 3 3/8 inches from the end and again two inches from the edge and the other seven holes are in sequence one inch from the edge.. 7 3/8, 13 1/4, 17 1/2, 22 1/4, 31 and 36 inches...
I put the measurements on top and on bottom as they go along the bottom actually but that's just so all the numbers weren't crammed together...

So as I was fiddling around with the distributor today I broke the wire that goes to the condenser. There's a condenser that's connected to the positive side of the coil and has a built-in bracket that just clamps underneath one of the bolts that holds down the coil..
They didn't have that at the parts store all they had was the condenser that goes inside the distributor with the points. I went ahead and bought it but my question is do I just connect it on and let it dangle there or does it need to be grounded?..
