Sent my speedometer into SPEEDOMETER SERVICE AND INSTRUMENT in Portland oregon. It was doing the usual paulse and jump , wouldn't go past 60, needle was bent up, It was a wreck. Made a couple calls to them. Really good guys to deal with. They charge $90. to fix speedometer no matter whats wrong + shipping to and from. I did some price checking from other companies at $200. to $300. I called them back and took a chance. Turn a round was fast. I put the dash back in yesterday morning and took it for a spin , works like a charm. It has never worked. They've been in buisness for over 30 years. I highly recommend these guys if your looking for speedometer work. Just thought I'd pass it on.
